Conversations from the Expo Floor 

What an eventful few weeks it's been! We kicked off the summer in Los Angeles, with a few members of the team heading stateside to exhibit at ATD26 for the third year running.


As you might expect, AI dominated the expo floor. From learning to content creation to simulations, it seemed to be everywhere. Yet the conversations we had were centred on something far more human: leadership, trust, connection and the growing need to support managers as they navigate increasingly complex people challenges.


Across the four days, a few key themes kept coming up:

  • The demand for measurable development outcomes

  • The importance of self-awareness

  • The rise of team effectiveness as a competitive advantage

  • And AI's shift from experimentation to implementation

Our biggest takeaway? While technology continues to evolve at incredible speed, the value of human skills only seems to grow. Technology can help us move faster, but developing confident, capable leaders and high-performing teams remains, at its heart, a deeply human process.
